Prince William Charms Scientists with Wit and Skill

Prince William recently made a visit to the Francis Crick Institute, where his presence garnered significant attention online, with many fans commenting on his appearance and style. During his tour, the Prince of Wales engaged directly with scientific activities, being guided through the preparation of a mouse kidney cell sample for microscopic observation.

He interacted with senior research scientists and was even presented with a playful "we're hiring" remark after handling the sample. Prince William also met researchers utilizing electron microscopy to study tuberculosis, a disease that significantly impacts global health. A group of biology students from William Ellis School participated in a genetic engineering workshop, connecting classroom learning with practical laboratory applications.

The Francis Crick Institute, established in 2015, serves as a hub for 1,500 scientists and staff focused on advancing the understanding of health and disease. Their work aims to shed light on disease development and explore new methods for preventing, diagnosing, and treating conditions like cancer and heart disease.

Before departing, Prince William signed a guest book and received several gifts, including science books and a paperweight, from the institute's leadership.
