Royal's Charity Rocked by Trustee Departure

Melloney Poole, a trustee and vice chairman of the Invictus Games Foundation, has recently stepped down from her role to pursue other interests, representing a substantial blow to the organization. This development follows a defamation claim initiated in March by Sentebale, a charity co-founded by Prince Harry in 2006. Sentebale, which focuses on combating HIV/AIDS in Lesotho and Botswana, is also suing Mark Dyer, a former trustee, alongside Prince Harry.

A spokesperson for Prince Harry and Mark Dyer stated their categorical rejection of the claims, expressing surprise that charitable funds are being used for legal action against the organization's founders. The Charity Commission had previously investigated Sentebale and found no wrongdoing. Meanwhile, Prince Harry continues to develop his own company, Archewell Philanthropies, with his wife Meghan Markle, expanding their global philanthropic efforts. Their initiatives include promoting responsible technology, preventing online harm, and humanitarian efforts, reflecting Harry's continued commitment to causes similar to those championed by his late mother, Princess Diana.
