A personal trainer from Bridgnorth, Lauren Baines, is set to expand her postnatal fitness group, Strong Mommas Club, due to an "explosion" in demand. Founded just a year ago, the six-week course in Wolverhampton is designed to safely guide women back into exercise after childbirth, with a strong emphasis on core recovery and pelvic floor health.
Baines, a mother herself, highlighted the importance of mothers prioritizing their well-being. Initially launched in February 2025, the program has since expanded to include classes in Bridgnorth, Tettenhall, and Shropshire. The growing popularity reflects a significant increase in awareness and participation in women's health and fitness post-pregnancy.
To accommodate the rising demand, Baines is seeking like-minded individuals to join her initiative. Furthermore, a virtual option will be introduced around April or May 2026, making the program accessible to a wider audience, including those unable to attend in person.
