Plattsburgh Winter Fest Returns to Fox Hill Park

The City of Plattsburgh is excited to host the second annual Chill on the Hill Winter Festival on February 21st, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at South Platt (Fox Hill) Park. This free community gathering aims to unite residents and visitors for a day filled with winter festivities.
The event will feature a variety of entertainment and activities for all ages. Attendees can look forward to music by KOOL 105, food trucks such as Adirondack Food Therapy and Cousins Maine Lobster, and a warming tent provided by Taylor Rental. The Plattsburgh McDonald's is sponsoring free hot chocolate, cookies, and toys, while The Strand Center for the Arts will lead kids' art activities.
Outdoor enthusiasts can participate in activities organized by Point Au Roche and Champlain Area Trails. Sledding will be available, and ice skating is planned if weather conditions permit. Emma Stewart, Community Engagement Coordinator for the City of Plattsburgh, expressed enthusiasm for bringing the community together at Fox Hill Park.
Sponsors contributing to the festival include Micro Bird, Della Auto Group, Community Bank, Happy Camper Pediatric Dentistry, Plattsburgh McDonalds, and KOOL 105. Organizers note that parking at Fox Hill Park is limited, and attendees are advised to drop off their families before seeking alternative nearby parking to accommodate vendors and individuals with disabilities.
