This unique expression, crafted in Goa, diverges from traditional festive whisky profiles, embracing its tropical origins. Matured in bourbon casks and finished in exclusive 'cream casks', the unpeated single malt is bottled at 48% ABV, non-chill-filtered.
The 2025 edition offers a symphony of tropical sweetness, warm spice, and creamy richness. Tasting notes reveal ripe plum, dark cherry, candied orange, and honey, evolving into toffee, cocoa, and nutmeg on the palate. Further complexity emerges with apple, stone fruits, caramel, and spiced rum notes, culminating in a long, creamy finish with hints of oak, molasses, and Christmas cake.
Paul John has earned over 350 international awards, with releases like the Zodiac series gaining global acclaim. The Christmas Edition 2025, using Indian barley and Goan heat, represents a significant showcase of Indian whisky craftsmanship.
