A Droitwich Spa-based pilot is set to participate in the 2026 London Marathon, donning a meticulously handcrafted parrot costume. This unique endeavor aims to raise crucial awareness and funds for Action Duchenne, a charity that has been instrumental in supporting his family since his nine-year-old son, Harry, was diagnosed with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy at approximately two years old.

Harry, who has a profound fascination with pirates and parrots, inspired his father's elaborate, colorful costume, which Ben personally created without prior sewing experience.
