Victoria Emery, from Stafford, is hosting a unique charity event to support Katharine House Hospice. She is auctioning more than 50 dresses, a significant part of her wardrobe, to raise vital funds for the hospice that has been instrumental in her care.
Emery lives with multiple system atrophy, an incurable condition affecting muscle control. The hospice has offered her and her family extensive support, even arranging a scuba diving experience due to her passion for the sport. Her family is also undertaking a sponsored 55km walk along the Sandstone Trail to contribute further.
The dresses will be sold following a fashion show at Stafford Rangers Football Club, where friends will model various styles. The event aims to significantly boost the online fundraising total, which has already surpassed £2,500, providing much-needed assistance to others receiving care.
