16 Nov
Summary
- West Northamptonshire Council organizing money and wellbeing roadshows
- Events to provide practical help on home energy, debt, and mental health
- Roadshows running from November 2025 to February 2026

In an effort to support Northamptonshire residents through the upcoming winter, the West Northamptonshire Council is launching a series of money and wellbeing roadshows. The events, which will run from November 2025 to February 2026, will bring together various organizations to provide practical help and advice on a range of issues.
The roadshows will cover topics such as home energy efficiency, debt management, and mental health support. Residents will have the opportunity to receive tailored guidance in a welcoming and inclusive environment. The council's cabinet member for adult care and public health, Laura Couse, emphasized that the roadshows are not just about offering advice, but also about fostering a sense of community during the challenging winter months.
Couse acknowledged that the colder and darker days can be a "difficult time" for many, with rising energy costs and financial worries potentially feeling "overwhelming." However, she reassured residents that there is help available, whether they are concerned about heating their homes, managing their finances, or simply need someone to talk to.
The roadshows will be held in various locations across Northamptonshire, including Kingsthorpe in Northampton, Daventry, Towcester, and Northampton itself. Each event will have a different focus, catering to the specific needs of the community, such as providing support for older people, families, and those with pre-school children.
