From Homeless to Hope: Nikki Hayes' Inspiring Comeback

Nikki Hayes, once homeless and battling severe alcohol addiction, has rebuilt her life and now advocates for others. Her struggles led her to be exploited as a money-laundering mule after addiction consumed her, drinking five to six bottles of wine daily.

At her lowest, Hayes lost her home, job, and family connections, facing legal charges for her unwitting involvement in a financial crime. She received a suspended sentence after repaying the money and receiving support from former colleagues and friends.

Her path to recovery included intensive treatment at Tiglin, where she received therapy and counseling. This period was crucial for addressing her personality disorder diagnosis and beginning to heal from past trauma.

Hayes is now sober, actively working on her recovery, and rebuilding relationships with her mother and daughter, Farah. She is set to speak at an International Women's Day event, sharing her message of hope and resilience.
