Nicholas Knatchbull, King Charles's godson and heir to the Broadlands estate, has completed an astonishing journey from addiction and disinheritance back to his ancestral home. Once a close childhood friend of Princes William and Harry, Knatchbull's life took a severe downturn due to extensive drug abuse, leading to his disinheritance and estrangement from the family for two decades.

Now 44, married with two children, and reportedly 15 years clean, Knatchbull has moved back into the 60-room Broadlands mansion in Romsey, Hampshire. He is also understood to have been reinstated as the heir to the estate, a remarkable turnaround after being removed from his father's will.
