Great Stirrup Cay, Norwegian Cruise Line's private Caribbean island, has unveiled its new Great Tides Waterpark this week. This significant enhancement to the 270-acre destination includes the first cliff jump on a private cruise island, offering adventurous guests 10 and 15-foot leaps into the water. The park centers around a 170-foot Tidal Tower, featuring eight distinct waterslides, including the dynamic Tropic Spiral and the propelled Breakwater Blasters.
Complementing the thrill rides, the waterpark introduces a more relaxed Wandering River, an 800-foot-long immersive experience with an accelerated current. Younger guests are entertained at Splash Cay, a dedicated zone with mini-slides and a large tipping bucket. The island's overall renovation also includes a new pier for cruise ships and an expanded pool area, enhancing the guest experience for those on NCL Caribbean cruises.
