Nagpur's Iconic Durga Puja Celebration Dazzles with Cultural Extravaganza

The 65th edition of the Katol Road Durga Puja in Nagpur unfolded its spiritual and cultural splendor last Saturday evening with an auspicious inauguration ceremony. The event, organized by the Sarbajanin Durga Puja Committee under the aegis of the Bengali Cultural Society, set the tone for five days of devotion and celebration.

The ceremonial inauguration was graced by chief guest Rajeev Swarna, GM of the SBI zonal office's main branch, who performed the inaugural rituals. The evening also witnessed the presence of the committee's guiding forces, including chief patron Ranjan Sahai, chief advisor Dipankar Som, president Vijay Ramani, and general secretary Swapan Chakraborty, among other senior members and well-wishers.
