Nagamangala Authorities Convene Peace Meeting for Smooth Ganesha Festival

On Monday, a peace meeting was held at the office of the deputy superintendent of police (DySP) in Nagamangala to discuss the upcoming Ganesha idol immersion procession scheduled for Friday. The meeting was chaired by the deputy commissioner, Kumara, who emphasized that adequate security and all necessary arrangements will be made at the immersion site to guarantee a smooth event.

The DC urged the temple festival organizers to strictly adhere to the guidelines issued by the district administration and to extend full cooperation to both the administration and the police department. He also instructed the officials to remain vigilant and take all precautionary measures to prevent any untoward incidents during the immersion.

Additionally, the DC appealed to the public to maintain peace and harmony and to support the smooth conduct of the religious event. The superintendent of police, DySP, assistant commissioner, and tahsildar were also present at the meeting.
