Parent's editor Emma Gill recently spent two days at the retreat, which is part of the Hoseasons collection and is nestled in over 11 acres of lush Yorkshire parkland.
The retreat is described as an "oasis of tranquility," providing visitors with "an ideal place to relax and unwind whilst savouring the splendour of the Yorkshire Moors countryside." Emma and her family were able to experience the accommodation, staying in The Blacksmith's Hot Tub lodge, which features two bedrooms, a private hot tub, pergola, and barbecue.
During their visit, Emma and her family enjoyed the extensive spa facilities, including a sauna, herbal steam room, and the unique Wild Swim Pond, which proved to be an energizing and revitalizing experience. They also had the opportunity to dine at the on-site Dome Bar and Restaurant, which offers a variety of local and classic dishes.
The retreat caters to all guests, including those with dogs, and provides a range of activities and attractions in the surrounding area, such as national parks, scenic woodland walks, and nearby towns and cities.
