Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board has initiated a significant two-year strategic partnership with a private motorbike company to pioneer moto tourism in the state. This collaboration officially commenced with the launch of a 1,520-km curated expedition flagged off from Bhopal on Wednesday, October 2, 2026.
The expedition is designed to immerse participants in Madhya Pradesh's diverse natural beauty and cultural richness over nine days. The route spans from Bhopal to Pachmarhi, Pench, Kanha, Bandhavgarh, Panna, and back to Bhopal, covering highlands, jungle routes, and heritage corridors.
Wildlife viewing is a central aspect, featuring guided jeep safaris in Pench, Kanha, and Bandhavgarh tiger reserves. The journey also prioritizes cultural immersion, including experiences with traditional pottery, local crafts, and Baiga tribal communities, aiming to foster meaningful exchanges and support indigenous livelihoods.
This initiative aims to expand bike tourism by offering various formats like heritage rides and off-road trails over the next two years. The partnership also emphasizes responsible and sustainable travel practices. The inaugural expedition concludes in Bhopal during the 7th Madhya Pradesh Travel Mart (MPTM) 2026, scheduled from October 7-10.
