The temple flag was hoisted precisely at 8:10 AM, with the rituals guided by the temple 'tantri', Edakkode Sankaranarayana Iyer, and temple priests.
The highlight of the festival, the legendary Koda, is scheduled to take place on March 10. This event is anticipated to draw a massive crowd from various parts of Tamil Nadu and southern Kerala, underscoring the festival's regional importance and spiritual draw.
