Mohanlal's Green Thumb: Actor Cultivates Organic Farm at Home

Mohanlal's Elamakkara residence in Kochi is distinguished by a thriving organic garden, where the acclaimed actor cultivates a variety of vegetables for his household. This passion project has been a consistent part of his routine for several years, extending well before the 2021 lockdown period.

During the 2021 lockdown, Mohanlal shared a video showcasing his organic farming efforts, revealing that he had been growing produce for his kitchen for approximately four to five years prior. His initiative highlighted that extensive space is not a prerequisite for gardening, recommending grow bags and terraces as viable options for urban dwellers.

The actor's home garden flourishes with crops such as bitter gourd, tomatoes, lady's finger, lettuce, papaya, corn, bottle gourd, and tapioca. While Mohanlal also has a beachside residence in Chennai, he cherishes his time at his Elamakkara home in Kerala.
