This festival is dedicated to celebrating the profound importance of 'Mothers' and senior citizens within society. The event, whose name 'Mayan' signifies mother in Rajasthani, aims to foster compassion, respect, and gratitude towards the elderly. This year, the focus is on recognizing senior citizens who have significantly impacted social upliftment, agriculture, women's empowerment, and child welfare. The inaugural ceremony will honor seven accomplished individuals from rural backgrounds, including three women.
Attendees can look forward to soulful musical performances by Lucknow singer Prabha Srivastava and Aman Azam, with historian Ravi Bhatt as the chief guest.
