Man Dribbles Ball From Africa to England for Charity

A man named James Lewis has concluded an incredible feat by dribbling a football from Marrakesh, Morocco, to his home in Rugeley, Staffordshire. The "Africa to Rugeley Football Run" challenge, which began in May, has so far generated more than £64,000 for St Giles Hospice. This organization previously cared for Lewis's father, making their support deeply personal for him.

Lewis arrived home on Saturday, describing the journey as an "emotional rollercoaster." He expressed gratitude for the hospice's care, which he stated made his father's final days easier. The nearly 15-week journey presented numerous challenges, including sleeping by the roadside and dealing with punctured footballs, which friends helped replace. Upon his return, Lewis eagerly anticipated a haircut, having not had one for almost 15 weeks.
