- Land could be redeveloped with a 14,000 sq ft mansion.

The site of the former Hadid-Foster mansion, where supermodels Bella and Gigi Hadid grew up, has been sold for a record $6.5 million. This transaction marks the most expensive property sale in Malibu following the devastating LA fires of January 2025. The 3.25-acre property, once known as the Carbon Canyon Estate, was relisted after its destruction.
The estate was originally purchased by Yolanda Hadid and David Foster for $4.5 million in 2007. The mansion, a European-style villa, was a filming location for 'The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' when Yolanda appeared on the show from 2012 to 2016. Kylie Jenner also rented the property at one point.
Despite the challenging real estate market and the recent natural disaster, the sale signifies continued buyer confidence in Malibu. The listing highlighted potential redevelopment with renderings for a 14,000 square foot luxury home featuring numerous bedrooms and amenities, along with beach club access.
