Angelina Jolie has officially sold her esteemed Los Feliz estate, a property she acquired in 2017 for USD 24.5 million. The iconic home, originally built in 1913, was once the residence of Hollywood pioneer Cecil B. DeMille.
Madonna has now emerged as the new owner, reportedly securing the property after expressing interest and receiving a private tour. The estate, located in the exclusive Laughlin Park community, spans 2.1 acres and boasts a main residence of 11,000 square feet with six bedrooms and ten bathrooms.
This historic property has a storied past, having also been extended by Jolie through the purchase of a neighboring lot once leased to Charlie Chaplin. Its previous celebrity residents include Carole Lombard, Cary Grant, Ellen Pompeo, and Kristen Stewart.
While Jolie initially listed the property for USD 29.85 million in spring, she sold it for a figure that still yielded a profit of USD 250,000 over her initial purchase price. The estate features numerous amenities, including a guesthouse, pool house, gym, tea house, private library, and wine cellar.
