On November 14, 2025, Lucknow's newly inaugurated Food Valley turned into a vibrant playground as the city celebrated Children's Day with the "Happy Streets for Happy Kids" event. The morning was filled with a burst of color, music, and youthful cheer, reflecting Lucknow's growing reputation as a UNESCO Creative City of Gastronomy.
Divisional Commissioner Vijay Vishwas Pant, who attended as the chief guest, announced plans to create Lucknow's own version of the popular Chappan Market in Indore. "We aim to build an even better model, where food, fitness, and fun come together," he said, drawing comparisons to the 56 shops in Indore's market.
The event featured a range of activities, including a calming yoga warm-up, energetic Zumba sessions, and a crowd-pleasing dance performance by the Dance Paradise team. Children participated in a Treasure Hunt, while teens and adults tested their wit with puzzles. The lively atmosphere was further amplified by RJ Shadab's engaging crowd interactions.
The celebration was powered by strong community support, with Food Valley as the main sponsor and several local businesses contributing as associate partners. "This is the Lucknow we adore -- vibrant, united, and proud of its culture," said homemaker Shalini Verma, echoing the sentiments of the attendees.
