The event was organized to raise funds for Maggie's Cancer Care and The Meath Epilepsy Charity. Luxe expressed deep apologies for any disappointment caused and assured that new event details would be shared soon, with tickets remaining valid. The couple previously faced significant debt of £300,000 to establish Luxe's successful L.A. Space brand. Despite John's remission in November 2023, his cancer returned in May 2024 and has spread to his brain.
Luxe recently shared that she anticipates becoming a widow in her 40s and that they are 'running at a million miles an hour' to cherish their remaining time. While John has been hospitalized for sepsis and organ failure following chemotherapy complications, he has shown resilience. The couple has decided not to have children, with Luxe admitting that having a baby now would feel selfish given her husband's condition.
