Lorna Luxe revisits 'Ghost House' solo after husband's death
19 Mar
Summary
- Lorna Luxe is preparing to visit her home, nicknamed 'Ghost House', alone.
- Her husband John Andrews passed away from cancer in February, aged 64.
- The house renovations are months behind schedule and expected in August.

Lorna Luxe is set to revisit the sprawling Warwickshire home she shared with her late husband, John Andrews. The visit, planned for Thursday, is a 'bittersweet' occasion, occurring weeks after Andrews tragically lost his battle with stage four adrenal cancer in February at the age of 64. The couple had relocated from their £2.5million property in Moreton Paddox in 2025 to allow for extensive renovations.
Luxe, 43, will now attend the progress meeting with builders alone. She shared her feelings on Instagram, describing the prospect as having to 'be John' today. The renovations on their three-bedroom home are reportedly several months over the initial six-month timeline, with an expected completion in August. This means Luxe will be returning to the home nearly a year after she and John originally moved out.
Andrews, a millionaire banker, was first diagnosed with a rare form of cancer in 2023. After a period of remission, the cancer returned in 2024, spreading to his brain. He was hospitalized with organ failure following chemotherapy complications and sepsis shortly before Christmas. Despite being told to prepare for the worst, he spent Christmas Day with Luxe before his passing. The unique property, known as 'Ghost House', features distinctive architecture and is situated cantilevered over a slope.
