LA Fleet Week: Ships, Stars & Spectacles Dock This Weekend!

LA Fleet Week returns to the Port of Los Angeles this upcoming Memorial Day weekend, running from Friday, May 22, through Monday, May 25. This marks the 10th anniversary of the event, offering the public an opportunity to engage with and appreciate the U.S. military.

Ship tours will be available daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., featuring vessels such as the U.S. Navy's USS Essex and several U.S. Coast Guard ships. A welcome party in downtown San Pedro will kick off the festivities on Thursday night.

Attendees can expect a wide array of activities, including an EXPO with over 90 military and first responder exhibits located at the Battleship USS IOWA Museum parking lot. The event will also feature aircraft flyovers, live entertainment, food vendors, and a variety of competitions. These include popular games like dodgeball and pickleball, alongside a "Galley Wars" culinary competition among visiting ship chef teams.
