Korean Air has completed a significant $75 million renovation of its airport lounges at Incheon International Airport, Terminal 2. The airline unveiled two flagship lounges: a 10,000-square-foot First Class Lounge with private suites and a 28,000-square-foot Prestige West Lounge.
The design philosophy draws from hanok, traditional Korean homes, emphasizing natural materials, light, and space to create a communal heart centered around kitchens and dining areas. Unique features include a Ramen Library and live cooking stations.
This extensive upgrade follows Korean Air's acquisition of Asiana Airlines and is part of a worldwide lounge enhancement strategy. New lounges have also been revealed at LAX, with another planned for JFK this fall.
