Kitten Rescue: Couple's Vigil Saves Four Lives

Four kittens, abandoned beside a canal, were discovered by a couple who refused to abandon them. The couple spent the night ensuring the kittens' safety and returned the next morning. These kittens, named Baccarat, Cribbage, Euchre, and Rummy, were later taken into the care of The Stray Cat Club rescue.

The kittens, found a significant distance from any access point, were initially feared to be dumped. The rescue confirmed the kittens were likely dumped due to their friendly nature and healthy condition. The couple's dedication involved multiple trips to the canal site over a weekend to check on the animals.

Now in the rescue's care, the four siblings are thriving. They are well-fed, healthy, and remarkably sociable, showing no signs of having been born wild. Their story emphasizes the impact of dedicated rescue efforts and the kindness of strangers in saving vulnerable lives.
