Waste Plant Workers Use Cat Calls to Save Kitten

A small kitten found itself in an unusual predicament within the Javelin Park Energy from Waste Facility. The tortoiseshell feline was spotted in the tipping hall, prompting quick action from the plant workers.

Employing an inventive strategy, the staff played loud kitten noises to draw the animal out. They also created a clear, safe path for the young female to navigate towards the reception area.

Following its rescue, the kitten received a clean bill of health from a veterinarian. After a social media appeal failed to locate any owners, the kitten, now named Callie, was adopted by an employee and his partner, finding a loving new home.
