A kitten in Seneca Falls, New York, found itself in a precarious situation when it became trapped within the engine compartment of a vehicle. Town of Seneca Falls police officers, along with assistance from Chris Knapp of Stever's Garage, were called to the scene to aid the "adventurous little kitten."
Following its initial rescue, the same kitten demonstrated a persistent streak of curiosity by immediately skittering into the engine compartment of another nearby car. This repeated escapade required a second, coordinated rescue effort by the police and Knapp.
Authorities confirmed that after a bit more teamwork and patience, the mischievous feline was safely extricated for the second time. The kitten is reported to be doing well following the ordeal, concluding with a happy ending thanks to the prompt assistance it received.
