Kelly Ripa Adopts New 'Baby' Dog!

Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos have expanded their family by adopting a rescue dog named Javi. The couple announced the happy news on October 13, revealing that their new "baby" had been featured on 'Live With Kelly and Mark' during Adopt a Dog Week.

Although Javi, originally named Lucas by Pet ResQ Inc., has not yet officially moved in due to ongoing medical tests, Ripa expressed her excitement. She playfully described herself and Consuelos as "expectant parents," sharing that she had already begun "nesting" for the new arrival.

The family's other dog, Lena, is adjusting to Javi. While initially hesitant during their backstage introduction, Consuelos is optimistic that Lena and Javi will develop a strong bond and become "great buddies."
