Mixed Fillings Pie Shop, a Jacksonville-based artisan bakery, has been recognized among the nation's elite. The downtown establishment secured the seventh position in the 2026 USA TODAY 10BEST Readers' Choice Awards. This achievement marks Mixed Fillings as the only Florida dessert shop to receive this prestigious national recognition.
Founded by chef Natasha Burton, the bakery opened its doors in May 2020. It has since built a reputation for its scratch-made Blurred Limes Key Lime pie and other Southern-inspired sweet and savory options. Mixed Fillings also offers popular homemade pop-tarts, hand pies, and quiche.
Prior to this national award, Mixed Fillings received significant attention from Southern Living magazine. In November 2024, it was featured in the magazine's Thanksgiving desserts edition, its second mention in 16 months. Previously, in June 2023, Southern Living named the shop's Blurred Limes pie one of the 10 Best in Florida. The bakery also earned a top spot from Yelp, being named the No. 1 best pie in Florida in March 2022. Beyond its acclaimed pies, Mixed Fillings provides hands-on baking experiences for enthusiasts.
