Jack Fincham: Rehab's hardest part wasn't drugs
25 Mar
Summary
- Stopping drugs was the easy part of rehab, he revealed.
- He suppressed feelings for years, finding them overwhelming.
- He is now 'living a life he doesn't want to escape'.

Reality star Jack Fincham has opened up about his recent rehabilitation experience, revealing that the most difficult aspect was not abstaining from drugs but confronting his own emotions. In an interview, Fincham described the detox process for prescription drugs like benzodiazepines and pregabalin as the "easy part," having completed a six-week detox.
The primary challenge, he explained, was learning to process feelings that he had suppressed for many years. He found himself reacting to emotions like excitement or sadness with a desire to use substances to cope. This emotional processing took place over two months at Rainford Hall in Merseyside.
Fincham admitted his first attempt at rehab in 2021 was for the wrong reasons, intending to appease others. This time, however, he actively sought help and expressed deep gratitude for the support received at Rainford Hall. He now feels comfortable in his own skin and is planning future endeavors, including acting and expanding his stationery company.
He reflected on past behaviors, taking full responsibility for mistakes rather than blaming external factors like fame or money. Fincham is now looking forward to exploring new opportunities, potentially involving acting and nature documentaries, and is determined to live a healthier, happier life.
