In a remarkable display of unity, Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) jawans celebrated the festival of Holi on the frozen expanse of Pangong Lake. The celebration occurred at an altitude of 14,300 feet in eastern Ladakh, bringing together troops from the North West Frontier and residents of adjacent border villages.
This rare high-altitude event was marked by a spirit of camaraderie amidst a stark, snowbound setting. Local children enhanced the festive atmosphere by presenting a colorful cultural program, their music and dance infusing the freezing environment with joy and cheer.
