In observance of the International Day of Yoga, Isha Foundation is facilitating approximately 1,000 yoga and meditation sessions across India. These events are expected to engage around 50,000 individuals from corporate, educational, medical, governmental, and defense institutions. Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev described yoga not merely as exercise but as a system for unlocking human potential.
The sessions are designed to provide an experiential understanding of yoga as a comprehensive science for wellness and personal growth. Trained volunteers are guiding participants through simple yogic practices suitable for daily integration, aimed at enhancing physical health and mental clarity. This initiative includes access to Sadhguru's free seven-minute guided meditation, "Miracle of Mind."
The "Miracle of Mind" app, already utilized by over 3.5 million users globally, is adding six new languages—Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Bangla, Italian, and Nepali—to its existing six, making meditation more accessible. Major International Day of Yoga celebrations are scheduled at Isha centers, including a large gathering at Sadhguru Sannidhi Bengaluru with over 2,300 attendees and another at the Isha Yoga Centre Coimbatore with over 700 participants.
