Indian Woman Accuses Canadian Nightclub of Racial Discrimination

On October 2, 2025, an Indian woman named Jennifer Smith alleged that she and her friends faced blatant racism while trying to enter a nightclub in Canada. In a video she shared on Instagram, Smith was seen lashing out at a security guard who apparently denied them entry into the club.

According to Smith, her group had purchased "skip-the-line" tickets by paying double the usual price, but were still not allowed to enter the club by the security guard. Despite waiting for over an hour, they were repeatedly stopped while "non-Indians with the same tickets" were allowed inside.

In the video, Smith is seen confronting the guard, saying: "We paid to skip the line, and now you're not letting us in, just because of your ego." She described the incident as humiliating, especially since the group had gone out to celebrate her friend's birthday and had arranged childcare at home for the night.

Smith claimed that the guard was "rude from the start" and deliberately ignored their concerns when questioned. Concluding her video, the woman gave a stark warning to other Indians considering moving to Canada, saying, "If you still want to come to Canada, it's your choice but be prepared for this."
