An extraordinary residence, known as the "House on the Rock," is now available for purchase at just under $10 million. Situated on a massive boulder overlooking Lake Coeur d'Alene in Harrison, Idaho, this 2,190-square-foot home boasts unparalleled panoramic views of the water.
The property's engineering ensures its stability on the rocky perch, allowing occupants to feel as though they are "floating" on the lake. The main house features three bedrooms and three bathrooms, with two additional cabins recently added by the owners, each offering spectacular water vistas.
Originally a platform for dancing soldiers in the late 1800s, the site evolved from a military post to a boys' camp before its transformation into a guesthouse in the 1970s. The 3.5-acre parcel includes 320 feet of water frontage and a boat dock.
Furthermore, the property grants access to the exclusive Gozzer Ranch Golf and Lake Club, a perk shared by notable figures. This unique offering combines a distinctive waterfront living experience with the amenities of a high-end club.
