Bachelor Alum's Shocking Adoption Story Revealed

Reality television personality Holloway, previously featured on "The Bachelor," has revealed the deeply personal narrative of her adoption.

Holloway's adoptive parents explained her adoption to her by referencing "The Jungle Book," comparing her story to that of Mowgli. Growing up in West Virginia, Holloway often pondered her origins and whether her birth parents remembered her.

Upon reaching 18 years old, Holloway's parents disclosed details about her birth mother, Beth. Beth had connected with Holloway's parents through a psychic, expressing her desire to expand her family. Beth had been sending letters every six months to update Holloway's parents on her life.

Holloway finally met Beth shortly before her 18th birthday. During their conversation, Beth confessed that her family was unaware of Holloway's existence; she had led them to believe the baby was stillborn. Holloway shared that this revelation was traumatic for her birth mother, but not for her, as she felt complete with her adoptive family.

In a 2022 TikTok video, Holloway elaborated on her first conversation with Beth. Beth explained that an affair resulted in her pregnancy, and knowing the child was not her husband's, she decided on adoption. Beth's husband would not raise another man's child, and her family could not afford another child. Beth's relatives were allegedly racist, and she feared Holloway would not be welcomed.

Beth chose not to confess her affair, allowing her friends and family to believe she was carrying her husband's child. After giving birth, she told her loved ones the baby had died. She did confide in her middle daughter when she was about 15 years old, but the topic was never discussed again. Years later, Holloway located her biological family via Instagram.
