The Highlands neighborhood is soon to welcome Helm & Honey, a new fine dining restaurant opening this week at 1359 Bardstown Road. The establishment, located in the former La Chasse space, will officially open its doors following an open house on March 19th from 5-9 p.m. This event will allow guests a preview of the space with passed hors d'oeuvres and a cash bar, with no reservations required.
Helm & Honey, under the direction of Executive Chef Erik Abraham, promises "Fine Food, Craft Cocktails." Chef Abraham's culinary philosophy centers on respecting ingredients and cooking with intention. The menu will feature "elevated comfort classics" such as honey-glazed duck breast and cast-iron cornbread, complemented by a premier selection of small-batch bourbons and botanical cocktails.
The restaurant's interior has been renovated to create a chic atmosphere with a matte black and gold aesthetic. Helm & Honey aims to provide "refined dining meets genuine hospitality," evident in details like branded ice cubes and a unique butter mold. Reservations are currently available via OpenTable or by phone, and the restaurant will operate Tuesday through Saturday from 5-11 p.m.
