The landlords, who previously operated the eatery, plan to re-establish a new restaurant under the identical name, "Chinese Noodle House," at the existing Thomas Street premises.

Despite the impending closure of the current iteration, the tenant owners are actively seeking an alternative nearby location to continue operations under the "Chinese Noodle House" brand. This situation is compounded by the presence of several other similarly named noodle restaurants in the vicinity, all stemming from a common restaurateur, Xiaotang Qin. These establishments often share a similar aesthetic and menu, contributing to a potential for customer confusion.

The dispute between the current tenants and landlords reportedly stems from disagreements over rent and personal conflicts.
