The city of Greenville is gearing up for its acclaimed "euphoria" festival, a four-day celebration of culinary arts and music, scheduled to run from Thursday, September 17, through Sunday, September 20, 2026. Organizers have announced that this year's event will be the most extensive to date, featuring nearly 90 distinct happenings.
Attendees can anticipate a diverse range of experiences, including intimate "brunch/lunch & learns," hands-on "classrooms" led by local chefs, and "guest chef dinners" paired with fine wines. The festival, now in its 21st year, was co-founded in 2006 by singer-songwriter Edwin McCain and restaurateur Carl Sobocinski. "Sunday supper" will conclude the festivities on September 20.
The nonprofit festival, which generated a $5 million economic impact last year, dedicates its proceeds to supporting Upstate charities through its 501(c)(3) organization, Local Boys Do Good (LBDG). Grants are allocated to initiatives focused on sustenance, arts education, and aid for children, alongside mental health support and emergency assistance for the food and beverage industry. Seven charitable partners will receive a portion of $105,000 in 2026.
Tickets for euphoria 2026 are scheduled to go on sale Thursday, April 16, at 10 a.m. via the festival's official website. The announcement of this year's events was marked by a kickoff concert at Camperdown Plaza downtown on April 8.
