North Lincolnshire is offering free swimming sessions for children under 16 during the upcoming Easter holidays. This initiative, dubbed 'Easter Daze,' will be available at leisure centers located in Brigg, Crowle, Barton-upon-Humber, Epworth, and Scunthorpe.
The program marks its third year, responding to significant demand from local families. Free entry is provided to all under-16s between April 3 and April 20. Younger children, aged eight and under, can attend with a parent or guardian without prior booking, while those aged eight to 16 must reserve their spots online in advance.
Councillor Carl Sherwood highlighted the program's benefits, stating it offers a fun and active way for children to engage with friends and family during the school break. Additional free family swim sessions will also be organized. Specific session times and booking details will be published on local pool timetables.
