The Ocean Club, A Four Seasons Resort, Bahamas, has completed significant updates to 26 ocean-view guestrooms and two suites within its original Hartford Wing. The resort on Paradise Island now boasts brighter, beach-inspired interiors designed to honor its historical charm while attracting a new generation of visitors.
General manager John Conway emphasized preserving the resort's character, stating the goal was to make it relevant for future guests. Originally opened in 1962, the Hartford Wing has been a guest favorite, featured in iconic moments like a James Bond film. The refreshed design replaces dark wood with light, blue linen-inspired wallcoverings, colorful textiles, and marine-life art.
Upgraded bathrooms feature wave-patterned stone tiles and mosaics. Unique elements include a mosaic-covered private bar resembling fish scales. All Hartford Wing rooms offer Atlantic Ocean views, with ground-floor rooms featuring terraces and upper-floor rooms providing more privacy. The resort also offers access to its gardens and dining options.
Future plans include the addition of private oceanfront residences. The resort aims to provide guests with a restorative and inspiring experience, encouraging return visits. Nightly rates begin at $1,350.
