New Night Bus Offers Business Class Beds

Europe's first night bus with seats that convert into flat beds has been introduced by Swiss company Twiliner. These innovative seats, modelled on aeroplane business class, offer unparalleled comfort for long-distance journeys. Initial routes link Zurich with popular destinations including Brussels, Amsterdam, and Barcelona, with convenient stops in cities like Basel and Bern.

Each bus accommodates 21 passengers in spacious 'business class comfort' seating, complete with amenities like electrical outlets, reading lights, and complimentary Wi-Fi. Passengers can also enjoy a spacious toilet, wardrobe, and a snack bar offering food and drinks. The service aims to provide an environmentally conscious and restful travel experience.

Twiliner plans to expand its network of comfortable night bus routes across Europe. Tickets for this unique travel experience begin at 150 CHF (£140), with the buses running three times per week in each direction. The company's goal is to redefine long-distance travel by combining comfort with sustainability.
