2 May
Summary
- 600 female riders participated in a track day event.
- The event celebrates International Female Ride Day.
- Funds raised will support Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance.

Dozens of female motorcyclists took to the track at Cadwell Park in Lincolnshire to celebrate their hobby and raise visibility. The #girlsrideout group, with 600 members across the county, selected 40 participants for parade laps during a track day event.
This gathering coincided with International Female Ride Day, a global initiative promoting women riders. Organizer Rochelle Hall highlighted the event's empowering nature, noting that it presents a significant, albeit nerve-wracking, challenge for many participants to ride on a busy track.
Beyond increasing visibility, the group also aimed to raise funds for the Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance. Hall, who started the group seven years ago, described it as a platform for local riders to connect and ride together, emphasizing the therapeutic benefits of riding.
The group has reportedly earned respect from male riders and is particularly welcoming to newly qualified riders, offering support and sharing their accumulated experience.
