Family Trades House for RV Life on Open Road

Ashley and Lennon Davis embraced a significant lifestyle change in 2022, transitioning from their Pennsylvania home to full-time RV living with their son, Ace. This decision stemmed from burnout experienced by Lennon, who juggled military service and home renovations during the pandemic.

To facilitate their new life, the couple sold most of their belongings, downsizing Ashley's wardrobe drastically. The proceeds from these sales, along with their home sale profit, enabled them to purchase their RV without debt.

Four years into their journey, the Davis family has explored over 30 states, aiming to visit all 50. Their travel planning involves selecting key destinations, such as Salem, Massachusetts, for Halloween, and accommodating Lennon's monthly National Guard duties in Pennsylvania.

Navigating the country in their RV presents logistical challenges, though they find accommodations in campgrounds and RV resorts. Lennon also manages their son's homeschooling, a role he balances with other responsibilities, including being a motivator and teacher.

The family has no immediate plans to cease their travels, contrary to some nomadic families who plan shorter journeys. They emphasize enjoying the experience without rushing, indicating a long-term commitment to their RV lifestyle.
