Emilia Fox Finds Healing in Nature Post-Split

Emilia Fox, known for her role in Silent Witness, shared that nature has been a profound source of healing following her separation from partner Jonathan Stadlen. She finds solace and presence among the flora at the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, where she serves as an ambassador. This connection to the natural world has aided her in processing the end of her four-year relationship.

Fox described her recent three-month filming stint in Italy for the crime series 'Signora Volpe' as a 'greatest tonic.' Reflecting on her single status, she embraces looking forward to new experiences with the wisdom gained from past relationships, maintaining positive sentiments about her ex-partner.

Her family and friends have also been crucial support. Fox, who lives in west London, has developed a love for gardening, cherishing her home's roses and wisteria. She also prioritizes her daughter Rose's well-being, limiting her social media exposure to foster a healthier relationship with technology.

Primarily recognized for portraying Dr. Nikki Alexander in Silent Witness since 2004, Fox is currently filming the 30th season, set to air later in 2026. She also reprised her role as Sylvia Fox in the third series of 'Signora Volpe' last year, drawn to the mystery-solving aspect of crime genres.

Embracing her fifties, Fox feels empowered to shape the latter half of her life, having previously felt she 'went along with it' in her younger years. With more time available, she is pursuing new interests, including learning Italian, cooking, and directing, and is excited about the evolving opportunities for actresses in later life.
