In a social media post, the 61-year-old Earl expressed that he has "never felt better" and thanked his girlfriend, Norwegian archaeologist Cat Jarman, for her "quiet and thoughtful support in this happy transformation."
Jarman, whom Spencer began dating last year following his divorce, also expressed her pride and admiration for his "admirable willpower and resilience." The couple, who met when Jarman was searching for the remains of an ancient Roman villa on the grounds of Spencer's ancestral home, Althorp, now co-host a podcast called "The Rabbit Hole Detectives" and co-published a book titled "The Rabbit Hole Book" in 2024.
Spencer's announcement of his third divorce in June 2024 had left him "immensely sad," but he expressed his desire to devote himself to his children and grandchildren. With the support of his girlfriend, Spencer appears to have found a renewed sense of purpose and well-being in his life.
