According to a news release, American Cruise Lines is set to introduce a new 15-day Northwest National Parks itinerary in 2026. The cruise will allow travelers to experience the best of the Pacific Northwest, visiting several of the region's top national parks.
The journey will begin with a week-long land exploration, where guests will visit iconic sites such as Mount Rainier's Inspiration Point, the Hoh Rain Forest in Olympic National Park, and Diablo Lake in the North Cascades. Passengers will also have the opportunity to explore nearby cities and towns before boarding the cruise ship for the second part of the trip.
Once on the ship, guests will embark on a round-trip cruise of the Puget Sound and San Juan Islands, with stops in destinations like Friday Harbor, Port Townsend, and Poulsbo. During the cruise, they can enjoy activities such as whale watching, seaplane rides, and kayaking.
The new itineraries, which will be operated aboard American's modern private-balcony ships, American Constitution and American Constellation, are currently available for booking with a starting price of $12,875 per person based on double occupancy. The fares include onboard meals and drinks, hotel stays, transportation in the parks, and guided tours.
