The 86-year-old TV personality revealed that this complication compounded the effects of living with a brain tumour for 16 years and a series of personal tragedies, including the loss of her partner of 10 years and undergoing further surgery within the same year.
Moran, who has since recovered, is preparing for a significant life change. She plans to downsize her property and move from Surrey to an independent living community in Somerset. This move will bring her closer to her sons, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She emphasizes the importance of positivity and cherishing each day, stating that feeling old is a choice and looking forward is key.
The celebrated fitness expert began her career at Butlins on Barry Island before achieving national recognition on BBC Breakfast in 1983 as the Green Goddess. She later starred in the 'Get Fit with the Green Goddess' video in 1984 and returned to screens in 2023 for BBC Breakfast's 40th anniversary, recreating her iconic routine.
