The youngest of Richards' three children, Eloise was adopted in May 2011. In 2016, she was diagnosed with a chromosome 8 deletion, which caused developmental delays. Despite these challenges, Richards highlights Eloise's observant nature and her ability to understand her surroundings, even if primarily nonverbal.

Richards shared that Eloise has taught her invaluable lessons about finding happiness in the simplest moments. This appreciation for life's small joys, she noted, has also influenced her other daughters, Sami and Lola.
